FOI complaints

Our office can consider complaints to the Ombudsman about how Ahpra handled a Freedom of Information (FOI) request.

The role of Freedom of Information (FOI) requests

By law, everyone has the right to request access to information held by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra), its management committee and the National Boards.

People often make an FOI request to Ahpra if they would like to see what information was considered when a regulatory decision was made by Ahpra or a National Board.
